Risk Screening Tool & Risk-Needs Assessment Implementation Checklists

These Checklists were developed to assist probation departments and juvenile justice agencies in their review and evaluation of the quality of their implementation practices and quality assurance methods and mechanisms in relation to their risk assessment and risk-needs-responsivity tools.

Michigan Juvenile Offender Risk Assessment Survey Report

This report reflects the culmination of efforts by JJ Vision 20/20 to survey all 83 counties to assess the nature and use of risk assessment tools in Michigan’s juvenile courts, and summarize relevant findings and their practical and policy implications. The report serves as a resource and stimulus for jurisdictions across the state as they seek to implement, utilize, improve, and/or evaluate a risk assessment process to more effectively and efficiently serve client youth and families.
